Southern California Edison (SCE) has scheduled power interruptions for Malibu residents during the week of Oct. 11 – 17, according to information provided by the City of Malibu.
SCE outages will impact the following areas:
Oct. 12:
- West Side of Busch Drive north of PCH, Puerco Canyon Road
Overnight Oct. 12-13
- North PCH west of Broad Beach Road, PCH west of Zumirez Drive
Oct. 13:
- South side boundary of W. Malibu Road, South side of Old Malibu Road, west side of Birdview Ave., 3000 block of Rambla Pacifico Road
Overnight Oct. 13-14
- PCH east of Solstice Canyon Road, PCH west of Puerco Canyon Road
The outages will allow SCE workers to upgrade aging infrastructure, make needed improvements and complete other repairs to increase system reliability in the future. Various conditions could change or postpone the electrical work, according to SCE.
