Pepperdine University named Michael Feltner as the new dean of Seaver College, Pepperdine University’s undergraduate school. Feltner has worked in various positions at Pepperdine since 1988, from teaching in the classroom to scholarship work.
Feltner has greatly contributed to the advancement of the Natural Science Division and the Sports Medicine program with extensive undergraduate research in biomechanics and sports medicine.
As Natural Science Division chairperson, his innovative designs were implemented during renovations of facilities in both Keck Science Center and Rockwell Academic Center.
Feltner also directed and designed Pepperdine’s Biomechanics Laboratory. After fulfilling the interim dean role at Seaver since August 2014, his new responsibilities begin immediately.
