Martha Fling was recently installed as a member of the Malibu Woman’s Club by President Marilyn Royden and sponsor Marcella Leach. Fling was presented with a membership guide at the monthly meeting.
“Fling, a longtime Malibu activist has the skills, knowledge and enthusiasm that will greatly benefit the club,” Leach said.
The Woman’s Club is preparing for its Sept. scholarship fundraising event, where the members will be working to raise funds to provide numerous scholarships to deserving fifth-graders and graduating seniors in May 2008.
