Malibu High School Class of 2014 graduate Linus Gordon earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2016-17 season. To qualify for the honor, the student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and finished the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event on the official NCAA Descending Order List. Gordon, entering his senior year at Tufts University, qualified in the long jump.
