In August of 2016 … there was a big crash on Pacific Coast Highway … heading in to Santa Monica.
Eastbound lanes were blocked by wreckage for 2-1/2 hours … the tow trucks were stuck in traffic … Malibu was stuck..
KBUU radio asked elected officials ….why does it take so long to get tow trucks out ??
And why are there no Metro Freeway Service Patrol tow trucks … stationed on PCH in Malibu?

A Malibu-Lost Hills sheriff’s deputy was involved in an on-duty shooting …. last Friday in Agoura Hills.
A woman attempting to shoot herself … drew gunfire from a deputy from the local station.
No one was hit by any gunfire.
The woman was taken into custody and hospitalized.
As with any sheriff’s deputy discharging his or her gun ,… an investigation will continue.

State Senator Henry Stern is proposing a law aimed partly at the correcting the unreliable electric service provided to Malibu by Southern California Edison.
