February eighth is the kindergarten roundup … for incoming little girls and boys at the three Malibu elementary schools.

Last week we made an error … regarding the transitional kindergarten classes.

Transitional kindergarten is offered for kids who don’t quite make the age cutoff for regular kindergarten … with birthdays falling between September and December.

It is offered at two Malibu schools … Cabrillo and Webster,

We mistakenly said it was just at Cabrillo.

Parents who live in the Point Dume attendance area may take their transitional kindergarten students to either Cabrillo or Webster.

Point Dume school offers regular kindergarten classes … but the TK classes are only at Cabrillo and Webster schools.

And again … kindergarten roundup day at all three public Malibu elementary schools is February 8th.
