Malibu Is A Sanctuary City, On A 3-2 Vote

By a 3-2 vote, Malibu’s city council voted tonight to approve a largely-symbolic message: no city funds can be spent assisting the government of the United States to enforce immigration laws in the city.

Voting yes: La Monte, Peak, Rosenthal.

Voting no: Mullen, Wagner.

We’ll have the voices of the five city council members … as they explain their votes … on the KBU News at 7:07, 7:37, 8:07, 8:37, 9:07 and 11:07 a.m. on FM 97.5 and streaming on .

And the Malibu Times will have full coverage later.
