Local children were awarded for their artistic abilities at the Keep Christ in Christmas Program, hosted by Dick Van Dyke, at Our Lady of Malibu School Jan. 6.
Seventh-grader Kole Smith earned first place for overall artwork and fifth-grader Jillian Neuner earned first place for overall essay.
