Local Realtor and retired California State University at Los Angeles professor Kathryn Alesandrini helped facilitate a workshop on disaster preparedness on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 12:30 p.m. With experience at CSULA’s disaster preparedness and continuity-of-business planning committees and as a Red Cross instructor, Alesandrini contributed her tips to the workshop. Attendees also received a free headlamp/flashlight.
