The Pepperdine men’s tennis team came out of its Sunday, Feb. 25, match against San Diego State University (SDSU) on top, with a score of 6-1, at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center at Pepperdine’s Malibu campus.
Freshman Max Mendelsohn secured the win in his singles set against SDSU’s Ignacio Martinez. The Waves came out on top in almost every doubles and singles match.
The team now heads south to La Jolla for the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament (March 1-3) and a match against Oklahoma State University (March 1).
