Longtime Malibu resident Gary S. Greene will lead the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, in their seventh annual Concert Extraordinaire on Saturday, June 18, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Proceeds from the event will benefit those who cannot afford legal services.
The evening will feature the Sherman Brothers’ Disney music and work by composers Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein, as well as a special guest appearance by songwriter Richard M. Sherman.Â
The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic was founded by Greene in 2009, and has since grown to have 75 members. The orchestra has performed over 40 concerts, raising thousands of dollars for charitable purposes.Â
Tickets range from $20-$100, with 50 percent going toward the Los Angeles County Bar Counsel for Justice, the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation and the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic.
