Malibu High School alumnus Brendan Sindell has been elected co-captain of the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos lacrosse team. Their season opener against the USC Trojans took palace on Saturday, in which Sindell led the Gauchos to a 13-6 victory with three goals and two assists.
