Two men survived after their car plunged 200 feet off the side of the road, flipped several times and landed on its roof early Friday morning.
An 18-year-old Encino man and 21-year-old Los Angeles man were driving on Stunt Road about one and a half miles from Mulholland Highway, when the car careened 200 feet off a cliff, flipping a number of times before coming to rest on its roof. The occupants managed to get out of the car and climb up the hillside, despite injuries and instructions from officials to remain in the car, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The LA County Sheriff’s Malibu Search and Rescue Team and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash at about 12:50 a.m. on Oct. 4, where medics and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
