Flagging operations will be in place Thursday through Saturday on Topanga Canyon Boulevard while Caltrans installs new concrete barriers and removes weeds along the roadside. Motorists in the Topanga area should expect delays and consider alternate routes.Â
Work will take place at the following locations on SR-27:
Thursday, May 9
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
One mile south of the lumber yard.
Friday, May 10
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A half mile north of Pacific Coast Highway (SR-1).
Saturday, May 11
6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Two mile bridge to SR-1.
As part of a Topanga Canyon Boulevard (TCB) Partners project, Caltrans will use mowers and other mechanical tools instead of herbicides to remove brush and other vegetation along the highway.
Motorists are advised to Slow for the Cone and Move Over.
