Drivers on Pacific Coast Highway will have to deal with intermittent lane closures beginning Wednesday, July 23, at Morning View Drive for a bike route improvement project. The City of Malibu will complete the construction as part of the ongoing PCH Bike Route Improvements Project.
The first phase of the project began on July 7 and will last until approximately August 19. Starting on July 23, access to Morning View Drive will be intermittently closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to use Busch Drive or Guernsey Avenue.
The improvements being made include construction of a northbound right turn lane, traffic signal modifications, relocation of the bus stop; paving, striping and improvements to the bike route, drainage, and sidewalk.Â
