This letter is in response to a cartoon that was published in last week’s issue on page A4
Sometimes finding myself embarrassed when reviewing my past sketches is nothing new to me, but today I’m really embarrassed. The cartoon in the last issue depicting the ice skater was drawn three years ago, during the winter Olympics, and was directed at the City Council meeting of Feb. 28, 2000. It does not reflect my opinion of the current City Council, which I believe is dealing conscientiously with difficult and controversial issues.
