Legendary volleyball coach Marv Dunphy was named to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) LA City Section Hall of Fame as part of the organization’s class of 2019. The class includes players, coaches and others from several different sports, including baseball, football, basketball and more.
Dunphy is famous in Malibu for his former role as a longtime Pepperdine Waves men’s volleyball coach who led teams to many victories.
Dunphy and his fellow classmates will be inducted in a ceremony on April 28, 2019, in Studio City, Calif.
