Malibu Man Stabbed in Home-Invasion Robbery

A 77-year-old man was stabbed during a home-invasion robbery in Malibu, according to a report sent out by Lieutenant A.J. Rotella with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. The victim was hospitalized and is now stable after suffering non-life threatening stab wounds from a blade-type object.

L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputies as well as L.A. County Fire Dispatch responded to the incident, which was reported at 10:50 p.m. Friday evening at an apartment located near the 20700 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the report.

Two African American adult men invaded the home while the man watched television in his living room. One of the intruders went through the apartment while the other forced the resident to remain in the room. They both fled the scene in an unknown vehicle after taking personal items belonging to the victim.
