Point Dume Marine Science school hosted its 15th annual Marine Science Dinner March 3 at Cafe Habana in Malibu.
Patrons took part in a silent auction with more than 150 items and a live auction later in the evening, which was conducted by local Ted Silverberg. Also at the event, guests enjoyed cocktails and a buffet dinner.
All the funds raised will go to support marine science, art, technology and instructional aids at the local school.
“Thank you to all parents, community members and Malibu retailers for your support in the education of our children,” the Point Dume PTA wrote in an email. “It takes a village.”
