Kudos to the Planning Commissioners who have labored for months trying to find the “devil in the details” in the MBC plan for our city. Suffice it to say their efforts and conclusions were admirably displayed at the commission meeting on May 7. Before a large group of concerned citizens each commissioner forcefully declared their inability to recommend to the council their approval of the plan as presented now. For their courage, clear sightedness, honesty and genuine caring, we salute them. Malibu can be proud of this fine group of leaders.
