Last week, preschool students at Gan Malibu baked honey cakes to share with their families in observance of the Jewish New Year.
Cooking is a part of Gan students’ weekly curriculum, and science and math lessons are incorporated into the food preparation. The group setting of the lesson also helps teach students values of teamwork and cooperation.
