The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for tomorrow, Feb. 7, for Los Angeles and Ventura county mountains and valleys as well as the Santa Monica Mountains area. The warning is in place from 4 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Offshore wind gusts are expected to range anywhere between 25 and 45 m.p.h. with “unreasonably warm temperatures.” There is an expected 8-15 percent humidity.
NWS advises residents to “use extra caution with potential fire sources,” especially due to the optimal fire conditions.
