I very much appreciate the Public Forum piece, “President lauded for keeping America safe.” It will be interesting to see what history shows us about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, with tens of millions of people living in freedom there for the first time. What a silver lining that would be to balance out the costs for keeping America safe.
