Risë Barbakow spearheaded Team AZB to support her husband Alan Barbakow at the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s Westside Walk in Santa Monica on Sept. 24. Alan Barbakow, a community man who has volunteered with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s six years ago. With a goal of $4,000, Team AZB was able to raise $8,856, according to the team’s web page.
