A head-on collision Thursday morning on Kanan Dume Road sent two people to the hospital and closed traffic in both directions for approximately two hours, law enforcement authorities said. The severity of the injuries is currently unknown.
At approximately 8:25 a.m., the two cars collided head on, Sgt. Covarrubias of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station said. Traffic was closed in both directions between Pacific Coast Highway and Newton Canyon Road until 10:18 a.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this point.
