In response to Joanne Boggs’ letter last week concerning Charter cable and no FM reception in Malibu, I also have missed it. This week I stopped at their office and was told that authorization from FM radio stations was necessary first and we should have reception before the end of this year.
This brought to mind, the time many years ago when Falcon Cable hooked everyone up on Rambla Vista except my neighbor and myself (mainly because of vacant properties on either side of us). Our complaints to them continued unresolved.
Upon writing a letter to the FCC office (and a copy sent to Falcon office) explaining our situation, within two or three days we were notified that service would start that week.
As it is said, “the squeaky wheel gets the oil!” Any more ideas?
