Scott Stewart

Scott Stewart graduated with distinction in June from Stanford Law School, where he was executive editor of the Stanford Law Review. As a member of the school’s Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, Stewart assisted with briefing in several cases before the United States Supreme Court. His student note, “The Right of Confrontation, Ongoing Emergencies and the Violent-Perpetrator-at-Large Problem,” will be published in the Stanford Law Review early next year. Stewart now practices law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Washington D.C., where he focuses on appellate litigation.

Stewart grew up in Malibu and was educated at Webster Elementary School and Malibu High School. He attended Princeton University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
