9:48 a.m.: A downed power pole on Topanga Canyon Boulevard near Old Topanga Canyon Road has closed the northbound lane of the road, according to the CHP.
Vehicles were swerving to avoid live power lines in the road.
The CHP as well as Southern California Edison workers were on the scene at 10 a.m.
The Pacific Coast Highway south of Topanga Canyon Boulevard was reopened Thursday night about 10 p.m. after a rock slide closed both lanes of the highway at 7 p.m.
PCH north of Yerba Buena Road is expected to reopen Monday at 6 p.m., according to the CHP.
