It is amazing to me that, although reported to the police on numerous occasions, your weekly report of criminal acts has never reflected the ongoing criminal activity that occurs at the surfing spot along the down-coast end of Duke’s Restaurant. All one has to do is look out the window at Duke’s, to view these little punk-thugs physically assaulting anyone, other than their gang, attempting to surf this area. This is particularly offensive considering an established easement to the ocean currently exists under Pacific Coast Highway along Las Flores Creek.
This is exactly the type of problem that a well-marked, lighted easement with, if necessary, a camcorder, will eliminate. Someone needs to curb the childish, but criminal behavior of these vicious, ignorant jerks.
