Boys water polo: The team went 2-0 for the second straight week, beating Frontier league rivals Carpinteria and a very tough Oaks Christian squad. With the win over the Lions, a league title is almost certain for this year’s team. Coming up for the boys is Cate and Nordhoff, both of whom the Sharks are expected to defeat.

Girls tennis: This team also went 2-0 for the second straight week. After beating St. Bonaventure and defending league champion La Reina High School, the team’s chances for a league title are looking good. Up next, the girls continue their postponed match with Oaks Christian and play Oak Park. The team is undefeated in the league with six wins.

Girls volleyball: The team went 2-0 for the week in league play. After a tough loss to Grace Brethren the previous week, the girls bounced back with wins against Carpinteria and Santa Clara. Coming up, the team plays Fillmore and Santa Paula as the Sharks attempt to chase a league title.

Cross Country: The girls and boys traveled to Santa Clara for their second league meet of the season. Top senior runners Zach Hamilton and Sara Mohr placed third and sixth respectively in their divisions. Up next, the team goes to Mount Sac in what is one of the more challenging courses of the season.
