Malibu resident Judah Taub and his classmate, Luke Sammann, raised $390 to benefit the Ocean Park Community Center’s Samoshel organization, which provides emergency and transitional housing for homeless adults. The Seven Arrows Elementary School second-graders hosted a basketball game on May 19 at the Palisades Park gym and charged $5 to participate or play in the game in order to raise funds for the organization. After the event, Taub and Sammann presented a check to John Maceri, executive director of OPCC.Â
