The Parks and Recreation Commission will host its final Trancas Field Community Workshop at City Hall on Nov. 30, with the intent of gathering community input on the best use of the newly purchased field.

Despite some complaints that the previous workshop held on Nov. 2 did not meet participant expectations, the workshop on Nov. 30 will follow the same format.

City Manager Reva Feldman told The

Times the schedule for the final workshop will consist of 45 minutes for a board and sticker segment, in which attendees will use stickers to indicate which ideas they would like to see implemented, and the remaining 45 minutes will be reserved for a question and answer portion.

The workshop will be held at Malibu City Hall, 23825 Stuart Ranch Road, from 6:30-8 p.m. In addition to attending the workshop, the city also suggests community members take the Trancas Fied questionnaire, located online at surveymonkey.com/r/SXCB7M2, by Dec. 12.

Once all community data and feedback has been collected, City Council is expected to announce the project’s next steps.
