This year’s Citizenship Award recipient from Oaks Christian School is graduating senior Hannah Baldoz. Described as a “game changer,” Baldoz has been a top 10 scholar for the last three years.
She chose to take a fourth year of Latin language classes during her junior year to help the school’s middle school students in serving as the middle school prefect; she served as the head prefect during her senior year. Additionally, Baldoz is the co-founder of We’re All Lions, a multicultural club dedicated to encouraging diversity and inclusion. She has also participated in the Elevate Leadership & Entrepreneurship Conference; her project dealt with closing the social isolation gap between domestic and international high school students.
Her extracurricular activities include playing with the JV girls’ soccer and varsity girls’ lacrosse teams as well as participating in choir. As a volunteer, Baldoz has worked as a nursery volunteer at the Calvary Community Church and as part of the crew at Lost Canyon Younglife Camp.
As for her goals, Baldoz said, “I hope that in everything I accomplish or set out to do that I can invest in and love people well.”
