Andrew Putnam, former Pepperdine All-American golfer, earned his 2018 Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Tour card. Putnam recently finished Web.Com Tour’s regular season in an eighth-place finish.
He was previously on the PGA Tour in 2015. Of his experience, Putnam said in a statement to Pepperdine: “I think I just put a little too much pressure on myself and tried to be perfect. [This time I’ll] just be a little more positive, enjoy the ride and enjoy the scenery.”
Two other Pepperdine alums—Putnam’s older brother Michael Putnam and Jason Gore—joined the 2017 PGA tour. The younger Putnam became a golf pro in 2011 following his graduation.
