The Malibu High School surf team competed in the Scholastic Surf Series State Championship in Oceanside recently. The team placed fourth overall in the Los Angeles-Santa Barbara Division this season. Five team members were recognized for ranking among the top six competitors in their divisions. Additionally, the girls received a team trophy for placing third overall in the women’s shortboard division for the region.
