Officials from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station confirmed that a collision involving a white BMW and a beige van sometime before noon Thursday briefly resulted in the closure of one westbound lane of Pacific Coast Highway. Several parked cars were also damaged in the accident, and one person was reported injured after leaping out of the way of an oncoming car. Sheriff’s deputies could not confirm which car collided with the parked cars and resulted in the injured bystander.
