State budget cuts have put both school districts and cities in crisis. That is why I urge the citizens of Malibu to join me in supporting Measure “S” which will ensure that our children receive the quality education they deserve. Everyone benefits from having top notch local schools. Students will be prepared to become good citizens who will contribute to the public good, neighborhoods will be safer, and property owners will see their land values increase.
Most of us who attended public schools owe a previous generation the debt of a good education. Now it is our responsibility to ensure that this generation will inherit what we did. The schools desperately need community support. Please join the effort to support Measure “S.”
