Just days after U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) announced that he would introduce a bill to end breeding captive orcas, end capture of wild orcas and stop the import and export of orcas, SeaWorld San Diego buckled under mounting protests.
The park will end orca slavery in 2017.
This news comes on the heels of Finland’s only dolphinarium closing its doors and emptying its tanks.
It’s time to empty the tanks at all inhumane dolphinariums in America and around the world because marine mammal slavery is unacceptable.
