Pepperdine University is getting the Christmas season started in Malibu on Tuesday, with its 5th annual tree-lighting ceremony and an appearance by the Clauses.Â
The festivities start at 4:30 p.m. with a dinner and greeting from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus at Waves Cafe.
Later at 6 p.m. in Joslyn Plaza, attendees are invited to gather around the school’s Christmas tree with a cup of hot chocolate or cider for musical performances and religious readings. A candle-lighting ceremony will follow the tree-lighting, according to the University.
