LA County Third District Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky was honored at King Gillette Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains on June 21.
The tribute event, hosted by the Las Virgenes Homeowners Federation, was attended by the Federation, Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, National Park Service, State Parks, elected officials and more.
The evening was to honor Yaroslavsky for 20 years of commitment to environmental stewardship in the Santa Monica Mountains. He is credited with preserving 20,000 acres of open space. The event included a cocktail party, dinner, presentations and dancing to live music.Â
