The California Wildlife Center (CWC) hosted a family picnic at Malibu Bluffs Park on Saturday, June 24, as a fundraiser for the organization, which rescues animals in and around Malibu. “Feathers, Flippers and Fur” was the theme of the picnic, the first of its kind, which included snacks, info booths, games and entertainment for the whole family.

In addition to its famous rehabilitation programs, the CWC’s mission includes education and conservation, protecting animals and conserving their habitats from human encraochment and destruction.
