Malibu High School senior Gabi Cano was honored Tuesday, Sept. 19, by the charity Project Cuddle. The 17-year-old was recognized for her fundraising efforts on behalf of the organization that saves newborn babies from abandonment. Project Cuddle named Sept. 19 “Gabi Cano Day” to acknowledge the teen’s hard work and passion for the cause. Cano was profiled in The Malibu Times in May.
Project Cuddle has placed more than 200 at risk babies, including Cano, in loving homes.
