Let me get this straight … the City Council rejects a park plan that 1) best reflects the consensus reached at the April 23rd workshop, 2) requires virtually no grading, 3) proposes parking access and drop-off that is more sensitive to the neighbors, and 4) saves the city $1 million in costs.
This “hurry up and make a decision” style of governance is deplorable. A decision predicated on hubris rather than reason rarely leads to a successful result. Oh… and did I mention the extra $1 million dollars?
