Malibu’s own Rick Springfield received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday after decades in the entertainment industry.
Actor Jason Thompson and singers Richard Marx and Jay Demarcus were on hand at the unveiling of the star honoring Springfield.
Known as an actor and singer, Springfield burst onto the scene with the number one hit “Jessie’s Girl.” He had two top 10 albums (“Working Class Dog” and “Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet”) and played the role of Dr. Noah Drake on the daytime drama “General Hospital.”
