The Malibu Times will host a city council candidates’ debate at the Civic Theater in Malibu City Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
Moderated by Publisher Arnold G. York, candidates will be asked questions on important issues concerning Malibu residents. All six council candidates — Jefferson “Zuma Jay” Wagner, Laureen Sills, Carl Randall, Skylar Peak, Rick Mullen and Jennifer deNicola — have been invited to attend the debate, which will run from 6:30 – 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend to help prepare for elections on Nov. 8.
