Malibu residents are invited to be a part of the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation’s (SMMEF) newest fundraiser — the Santa Monica-Malibu Wine Auction — on Sunday, April 17 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows.
Presented by Dun & Bradstreet, MSD Capital/Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, Kaiser Permanente and Macerich/Santa Monica Place, the event will feature food and wine tastings from top restaurants and vineyards and auctions of world-class wines and experiences.
All proceeds from the event will benefit SMMEF, which funds programs for every school in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. SMMEF-funded staff programs include arts education and enrichment grants, which many schools use to provide programs in science, technology, math, arts or student wellness.
Tickets for the fundraiser go on sale Friday, March 11, and range from $125-$150. In conjunction with the event, SMMEF will host an online auction from April 6-18. To learn more about the fundraiser and purchase tickets, visit smmwineauction.org.
