Oaks Christian School (OCS) senior Jackson Fine, a graduate of Malibu Middle School, was awarded a U.S. patent for a 3-D imaging system he invented. The project took five years of Fine’s dedication, along with support from his parents and the faculty and staff at OCS.
Fine’s system allows for easy guidance and manipulation of holographic tools and objects within a 3-D sensor grid. The invention can be used for tasks such as remote medical procedures and repairing equipment on orbiting spacecraft.
