An aesthetic Venus-Mercury rendezvous of romance and communications May 24-27 makes it the perfect time to shout your love from the rooftops. But with effusive Jupiter and illusionary Neptune in the mix, if you want to be drunk on love by reaching for the moon (aka illusive Mr./Ms. “Right”), you may get a mouthful of moonshine instead, in which case you’ll be drunk but not on love. Try looking for true romance sans the rose-colored glasses. Jupiter and Neptune bounce off each other through the beginning of June-on the positive side, a great time for spiritual endeavors. The New Moon in Gemini on May 30 highlights communications and travel.

If you know your rising sign from your time of birth, read that also.

    Aries (March 21-April 19)

The Mercury-Venus duo turns you into a moneymaking machine, with the added urge to spend, spend, spend. Just be sure to check the financial fine print. The New Moon encourages self-expression, especially in romantic encounters.

    Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Mercury and Venus dancing in your sign are sure to ignite romance, possibly through a phone call, letter or e-mail. Just don’t get too carried away until Jupiter and Neptune have left the building. The New Moon brings a financial opportunity.

    Gemini (May 21-June 21)

Your eloquence should benefit someone lucky enough to have captured your heart (or at least your attention). Neptune says do some fact checking when dealing with paperwork. A new personal cycle begins with the New Moon.

    Cancer (June 22-July 22)

Sociable Moonchildren should look for contacts that will open doors during the Venus-Mercury dance, but be selective. Also, a friendship may turn romantic. The New Moon brings up the past for review, so meditate on a new direction.

    Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

A new path opens up when your Sun ruler collides with Uranus, which may include a career opportunity during the Venus-Mercury merger. But avoid murky Neptunian waters by checking the facts. The New Moon inspires socializing.

    Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Romance bordering on hedonism throws your practical nature into a delightful tailspin, when your Mercury ruler flirts with Venus. And with Jupiter and Neptune in the mix, you won’t see Earth again until the career-oriented New Moon.

    Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Your voluptuous Venus ruler joining Mercury in your area of sexuality means you won’t be coming up for air anytime soon. Strangely, you may also need more alone time now. The New Moon emphasizes spirituality and travel.

    Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

A partner may want more commitment during the harmonious Venus-Mercury alliance. Or a solid relationship may inspire romantic creativity in order to heat things up. The New Moon also emphasizes intimate connections.

    Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

A walloping dose of romance mixed with lunacy is yours during the Venus-Mercury-Neptune party, which is joined by your Jupiter ruler. A work relationship may turn interesting. The New Moon also highlights one-on-one interactions.

    Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

It’s time to play when Venus joins Mercury in your area of love and creativity. At the very least, keep your eyes open for a divine opportunity. The work-oriented New Moon brings you somewhat back down to Earth.

    Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

The creative Venus-Mercury alignment inspires extravagant home redecorating or entertaining, while the Neptune-Jupiter duo promises interesting family interactions. Romantic communications are highlighted during the New Moon.

    Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You may swing wildly from one direction to another during your Neptune ruler’s collision with Jupiter, which may eventually inspire a breakthrough. Love and communications are also in the stratosphere. The New Moon highlights home life.
