Malibuites practically had a VIP view of SpaceX’s rocket launch last Sunday evening. According to social media for the company, the event was Falcon 9’s first landing on this side of the country. It also tweeted that the launch marked “the 30th successful landing of a rocket booster.”
The Falcon 9 launch and landing took place at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara County, starting at 7:21 p.m.
