Photos: Pumpkin Patch

Our Lady of Malibu students from kindergarten through 8th grade put a creative spin on pumpkin carving, creating art pieces from pumpkins, gourds and squash. The pumpkins were numbered and Malibu local volunteer judges Heidi Bernard, Robin Perkins and Ron Lander gave scores on originality, creativity and artwork that was primarily created by students. Grand prize went to 7th grader Frankie Manera, for “Queen of Hearts.”

“The OLM Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Contest is a fun tradition that the kids look forward to every year,” Our Lady of Malibu Parent Guild President Greer Brath shared with The Malibu Times
